Bollywood actress and model Shefali Jariwala, best known for her breakout role in the iconic music video “Kaanta Laga” and her appearance on Bigg Boss 13, passed away suddenly at the age of 42. Her death, reportedly due to cardiac arrest, occurred late Friday night in Mumbai, leaving the film and television industry, as well as her fans, in deep shock and mourning.

According to initial reports, Shefali was at her Andheri residence when she suffered a cardiac arrest. She was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital around midnight by her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, and three others. Sadly, doctors declared her dead on arrival. Her body was later moved to Cooper Hospital for postmortem, and Mumbai Police have initiated a probe, treating the case as suspicious until the official cause is confirmed. Heartbreaking visuals from the hospital showed Parag Tyagi visibly distraught, and Shefali’s mother overwhelmed with grief.
